Great things take time - and real work in the vineyard.

‘Doraminna’, the oldest vineyard block in Williamstown, Barossa Valley, traces its origins back to 1946. Planted and nurtured by Trevor Rohrlach, who helped establish the site alongside his father at just 15 years of age, it remains a dry-grown, low-yielding vineyard producing fruit of exceptional depth and character. The result is a richly textured Shiraz that drinks beautifully on release, while holding strong potential for the cellar.

Our 2024 vintage marks just the fourth release of ‘The Sleeper’ since its inaugural bottling in 2003 - a wine reserved for truly standout years.

Vinification

Handmade in two and four tonne fermenters, the fruit is de-stemmed and fermented using natural yeast. Fruit is fermented on skins for 12-14 days before being left to warm at the end of ferment and left on skins for a further 10 days to enhance tannin extraction and maximise flavour and colour.

Please note: Bottle image may differ during our move to Stelvin screw-cap packaging. Wine remains unchanged.
