"Sauvignon Blanc remains a Hills’ stalwart, a grape variety so in tune with its region that it remains always in demand. Fragrant, aromatic, this ’24 Sauvignon comes with a strong summertime feel to it, bursting in a mix of tropical fruits and citrus. It’s a most persuasive wine, something to tuck into over the dreary winter months. Snow pea, lemon, grapefruit, passionfruit pulp, light herbals and lantana aromas light up the bouquet. Bright acidity mingles with some really zingy fruit tingle lemon drop notes against the tropical fruits. It has a gentle texture, too, just right to match with food. What’s not to like?" - Jeni Port

"From the 2024 vintage, early days but it does look impressive, this is cool fermented in stainless steel. The fruit is from Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills. The colour here is the very palest lemon. The nose reveals that this is a Savvy from the tropical end of the spectrum. We have passionfruit and pineapple and a range of other tropical notes, as well as a crunchy minerally backing. A flicker of gooseberry jam as well. This is medium to good, in terms of length, with a seductive texture. Nicely balanced, this should drink well from now for the next three years." - Ken Gargett
