COLOUR
Bright and deep with purple hues.

A complex melody of bright red fruits and earthy spice leaps out of the glass - raspberry, cherry, plum, tobacco and dried herbs.
PALATE
Medium bodied wine with soft chalky tannins, upfront explosion of bright fruit which gently transitions to a lingering tobacco, cigar-box, anise finish.
AGEING POTENTIAL
Drink now or age up to 10 years.
VINEYARD
Fruit is sourced from Neil and Heather Grace's Home Block, with Pinotage planted in 2015 after a trip to South Africa highlighted the suitability of the variety to the Clare Valley. Alluvial soil over limestone.
Vinification
14 day ferment on skins in open fermenters with gentle hand- plunging. Gently pressed to tank, settled and transferred to two - to three-year-old French oak, hogsheads and barriques, and matured there for 12 months.
