Tropical passionfruit with gooseberry and guava fruit.
Lifted passionfruit pith, balanced natural acidity and great length of flavour.
Best enjoyed fresh and vibrant.
This award-winning vineyard lies in the heart of Adelaide Hills on Wenzel Road, south-east of Oakbank. David and Sue Cherry (nee O'Leary) planted this vineyard in 1990, and the Adelaide Hills is perfectly suited to the production of crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. The elevation of this cool climate region consistently offers a natural balanced acidity to this single vineyard wine.
The perfect summer drop, wonderful served with fresh tuna sashimi or lightly sauteéd asparagus.
Alcohol - 12.0%

"Night-harvested, destemmed and crushed, gently pressed free-run settled, the juice run off to 3yo French oak, adding complexity. Complex, long and intense." - James Halliday
