The Claire Reserve Shiraz is dedicated to Claire Marie O'Leary for her strength, character and unfailing optimism. It is made exclusively from the fruit of gnarled vines planted a century ago - hardy old strugglers that have adapted to the wiles of geology and constant seasonal change, to reliably squeeze out just under one tonne of grapes to the acre, come hell or high water. The sheer power of flavour and concentration of their juice guarantees a wine which will bloom with long-term cellaring.
