The Wines > O'Leary Walker Sauvignon Blanc
The Adelaide Hills is arguably one of the best regions in Australia for Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The altitude, soils and weather patterns, influenced by the Mt Lofty Ranges seem to draw the best from these varieties.
The cool climate influence dictates a long and even ripening, maximising varietal character and intensity of flavour. The vineyard faces north-east and is quite high on a gentle sloping hill. The soils are quite gravelly and well drained with a large amount of quartz.
