The Wines > O'Leary Walker Watervale Semillon

This wine is sourced from a single vineyard of "dry-grown" 49 year-old vines in Watervale. The cuttings, taken from the Quelltaller vineyard, originated in the Hunter Valley, NSW. The soils in Watervale are Terra Rossa over limestone, which contributes greatly to the quality of this wine. The bunches produced by this old clone are small and abound in concentrated flavour when compared to modern clonal selections.
